🔍 Job Summary

We are seeking an active and skilled Electrical Executive to support the daily Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of electrical systems at our Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and Water Treatment Plants (WTP).

The ideal candidate must possess a solid foundational understanding of motors, control panels, and protection circuits, and be capable of independently resolving common electrical and control-related site issues.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Electrical O&M and Troubleshooting

• Daily Maintenance: Execute preventive (PM) and corrective (CM) maintenance on all electrical equipment, including motors, pumps, blowers, transformers, and DG sets.
• MCC and Panel Management: Identify and rectify faults in Motor Control Center (MCC) panels, LT switchgear, and control wiring circuits.
• Electrical Troubleshooting: Handle common electrical issues such as overloads, short circuits, earth faults, and power supply interruptions.
• VFD and Starter Support: Assist in the operation and perform basic troubleshooting on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor starters (DOL, Star-Delta).

Reporting and Inventory Management

• Prepare daily electrical maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and energy consumption data.
• Monitor stock levels of critical electrical spare parts and consumables, initiating timely procurement requests.
• Ensure all electrical work is executed in strict accordance with company quality and safety standards (including Lock-Out/Tag-Out - LOTO procedures).

Basic Automation Support

• Assist in understanding and reporting common alarms related to PLC and SCADA systems.
• Inspect and verify the connection integrity of control wiring and field instrumentation (sensors, transmitters).

Site Coordination

• Coordinate effectively with the Plant Supervisor and Operators to ensure safe and efficient electrical O&M activities.

We’re Looking For:

• Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in the Electrical O&M and maintenance of any industrial or utility plant (preferably STP/ETP/WTP, or Power).
• Strong Working Knowledge of:
• Motors and Pumps: Three-phase motors, their protection, and fundamental wiring.
• Electrical Protection: Working knowledge of circuit breakers (MCB/MCCB), overcurrent relays, and fuses.
• Control Circuits: Basic understanding of start/stop logic and relay operation.
• Site Readiness: Ability and willingness to work efficiently in a challenging field environment and perform hands-on troubleshooting.
