🔍 Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Executive – O&M to lead the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operation and maintenance of multiple Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and/or Water Treatment Plants (WTP) within a designated cluster or large-scale facility.

This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, P&L awareness, and exceptional team and client management abilities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Technical & Operational Leadership

• Lead overall O&M activities for the assigned plant(s) to ensure continuous operation and adherence to treated water quality standards (e.g., CPCB norms).
• Conduct advanced technical troubleshooting on plant equipment (pumps, blowers, filtration units, mechanical aerators, dosing systems, etc.) and process issues (MLSS management, sludge handling, chemical dosing).
• Optimize plant performance to reduce energy consumption, chemical usage, and operational costs.
• Oversee the implementation of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) schedules using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Management & Reporting

• Supervise, mentor, and train a team of Supervisors and Operators, ensuring strict adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage operational budget (OPEX), track consumables, inventory, and spares procurement, and ensure cost control targets are met.
• Prepare and analyze detailed daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, including compliance data, efficiency metrics, and maintenance summaries, for submission to senior management.
• Handle invoicing, billing, and contract management documentation.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the client on-site, managing expectations and ensuring high levels of service delivery.
• Represent the company during audits, regulatory inspections, and client review meetings.
• Proactively address and resolve client queries, concerns, and contractual matters promptly.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce and audit site safety procedures and policies (LOTO, Confined Space Entry, Chemical Handling).
• Ensure all necessary environmental permits and operational records are maintained accurately for regulatory inspection.

We’re Looking For:

• B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or relevant Engineering discipline.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in O&M, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior supervisory role for industrial or municipal STP/ETP/WTP facilities.
• Proven expertise in Process Control for activated sludge, MBR, RO, or filtration technologies.
• Familiarity with SCADA/PLC systems and process instrumentation for efficient plant monitoring.
• Strong Managerial Skills encompassing team leadership, budgeting, and client relationship management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for high-level reporting and client interaction.
