Job Summary

VEXL Environ Projects Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and responsible Safety Officer to ensure implementation of safety standards and promote a safe working environment across our project sites. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring site safety practices, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and building a strong safety culture within the organization.

Position : Safety Officer

Location : PAN India (Project Sites Across India)

Department : Projects / EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)

Experience Required : 2–3 Years in Relevant Industry

Salary Offered: Up to 3 LPA CTC (Based on experience & interview performance)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Qualification : ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) / PDIS (Post Diploma in Industrial Safety)

Preferred Industry Experience : STP / ETP / WTP Projects

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations at project sites.
• 
  
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• 
  
• Monitor work activities and identify unsafe conditions or practices.
• 
  
• Implement and enforce safety procedures, SOPs, and permit systems.
• 
  
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for workers and staff.
• 
  
• Ensure proper usage of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
• 
  
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports.
• 
  
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts and recommend corrective actions.
• 
  
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and management regarding safety compliance.
• 
  
• Maintain records related to safety training, incidents, inspections, and compliance documents.
• 
  
• Ensure emergency preparedness and support implementation of emergency response plans.
• 
  
• Promote a zero-harm and safety-first work culture across all sites.
