Job Description – Projects Executive (Fire Fighting)

Job Title: Projects Executive – Fire Fighting (Fire Hydrant Works)

Department: Projects – Fire Protection Systems

Location: Site Based – Coordination with Client Site Team / Bhopal HO

Reporting To: Projects Manager / Client Project In-Charge

Salary Range: Rs. 30,000 - Rs. 35,000 per month (Based on experience & interview)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Industry: Fire Protection / MEP / Construction

1. Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Projects Executive to manage fire hydrant works at site in coordination with the client's site team. The role ensures permits and safety requirements, coordinates planning and issue resolution with the client's project in-charge, supports onsite planning and development, and prepares daily measurement books for the client and vendors. The candidate will also handle overall project coordination, monitoring, planning of resources, and implementation and control of manpower, execution, quality, and communication to ensure work progresses as per approved plan.

2. Key Roles & Responsibilities

A. Core Responsibility – Fire Hydrant Site Management

·        Manage fire hydrant works at site in coordination with the client's site team.

·        Ensure permits and safety requirements before starting work – Work Permit, Height Work, Hot Work, Safety PPE Compliance.

·        Coordinate planning and issue resolution with the client's project in-charge on a daily basis.

·        Support onsite planning and development – site marking, trenching, piping, welding, clamping, hydro-testing, pump room and yard hydrant works.

·        Prepare daily measurement books (MB), joint measurement records for the client and vendors and get it certified timely.

B. Overall Project Coordination & Control

·        Overall project coordination, monitoring, planning of resources, and implementation and control of manpower, execution, quality, HR, communication, and client/vendor/team coordination.

·        Establishing site execution pace and ensuring work progresses as per the approved plan and schedule.

·        Allocate work to technicians, fitters, welders and subcontractors and monitor daily productivity.

·        Ensuring billing, approvals, and permits are processed on time.

C. Billing, Measurement & Documentation

·        Prepare Daily Progress Report (DPR), Daily Measurement Book, Material Reconciliation.

·        Support in client billing, vendor billing verification and quantity tracking.

·        Maintain site documentation – MIR, WIR, Test Reports (Hydro-test, Pump Test), Material Inward Register.

·        Coordinate for approval of materials, drawings and extra items.

D. Safety, Quality & Compliance

·        Ensure all hydrant works meet NBC, IS standards, NFPA and client safety norms.

·        Implement safety protocols, tool-box talks, ensure proper use of PPE at site.

·        Conduct quality checks for welding joints, pipe supports, alignment, and pressure testing.

E. Client & Vendor Coordination

·        Act as single point of contact at site for client site team.

·        Coordinate with internal team, vendors, and contractors for timely availability of material and manpower.

·        Provide timely updates and resolve site issues to ensure client satisfaction.

3. Required Skills

·        Hands-on experience in Fire Hydrant System – Underground & Above Ground Piping, Hydrant, Hose Reel, Pumps, Valves

·        Site Coordination with Client Team and Project In-charge

·        Knowledge of Permits, Safety Requirements, Planning & Issue Resolution

·        Measurement Book (MB), DPR, Billing Support and Onsite Planning

·        Manpower handling, vendor coordination and execution control

·        Basic AutoCAD drawing reading, MS Excel, MS Office

·        Strong communication and reporting skills

4. Qualifications & Experience

·        Education: Diploma in Mechanical / Fire & Safety / Electrical

·        Experience: 2-5 Years in Fire Fighting / Fire Hydrant site execution

·        Preference: Candidates who have worked directly with client site teams on industrial / commercial projects

·        Salary: Rs. 30,000 - Rs. 35,000 per month

·        Location: Raipur & (Nearby in Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh) Location
