Department: Projects – Fire Protection Systems

Location: Project Sites – Commercial & Residential Projects (Pan India) + Bhopal HO

Experience: 3- 3.5 Years Experience in Commercial or Residential Fire Fighting Projects

Educational Qualifications: Diploma  in Mechanical or Electrical & ITI

Salary Range: Rs. 25,000 – Rs. 30,000 Per Month (Based on experience & interview)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We have an Urgent Requirement for Project Engineer (Fire Fighting Projects) to work as Fire Fighting Site Supervisor for our Commercial and Residential Fire Fighting Projects. The candidate should have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in fire fighting site execution, basic knowledge of fire fighting works, drawings, standards/codes, and ability to manage on-site field construction activities. The role requires close coordination with Architect & Consultants, execution planning, and ensuring quality and safety at site.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

·        Basic knowledge of Fire Fighting work – Hydrant System, Sprinkler System, Fire Alarm, Hose Reel, Yard Hydrant, Pumps & Valves.

·        Understanding and working with drawings –

·        Ability to facilitate implementation of drawings and design during construction – Marking, piping, installation as per approved design.

·        Basic knowledge of standards and codes.

·        Basic understanding of related components of the project and scheduling of the activities – Material planning, manpower planning, sequencing of fire fighting activities with civil/interior works.

·        Ability to co-ordinate – Raise RFIs, highlight BOQ vs drawing variations, extra items.

·        Manages all on-site field construction activities – Supervise and closely monitor site development, deploy manpower, monitor available resources, obtain permits.

·        Prepares execution plans – Daily & Weekly Execution Plan, DPR, work completion updates and planned activities.

·        Willingness to relocate to construction site locations is expected – Flexible to work at commercial / residential sites across India.

·        Has keen ability to understand the requirement of Quality and Safety – Ensure quality checks, hydro-testing, safety compliance, PPE, permits.

·        Ability to interpret and report variation in works to enable decision-making – Report any deviation, hindrances, design changes to Project Manager for timely decisions.

·        Overall project coordination, monitoring, planning of resources, and implementation and control of manpower, execution, quality, communication, and client/vendor/team coordination.

·        Manage fire hydrant works at site in coordination with the client's site team, ensure permits and safety requirements, coordinate planning and issue resolution with client's project in-charge.

·        Support onsite planning and development and prepare daily measurement books (MB) for the client and vendors, assist with measurements and attend client site visits.

·        Ensuring billing, approvals, and permits; establishing site execution pace and ensuring work progresses as per the approved plan.

Required Skills & Competencies

·        Fire Fighting Systems – Hydrant, Sprinkler, Alarm – Basic to Intermediate Knowledge

·        Drawing Reading & Execution – Shop Drawings, Layouts

·        Knowledge of Standards & Codes – NBC, IS, NFPA

·        Site Execution Planning & Scheduling

·        Coordination with Design Team and Site Team

·        Quality & Safety Management at Construction Sites

·        MS Office, MS Excel Reporting, AutoCAD (Basic Preferred)

·        Measurement Books, DPR, Billing Coordination

Qualifications

·        Education: Diploma  in Mechanical or Electrical & ITI (Mandatory)

·        Experience: 3-3.5 Years in Commercial or Residential Fire Fighting Projects

·        Salary: Rs. 25,000 – 30,000 PM

·        Location Flexibility: Willing to relocate to construction site locations
