Job Description/Responsibilities

Job Title: O&M Operator – STP/ETP/WTP

Location: PAN India (Full-time, site-based role)

Experience: 1–2 years in STP, ETP, or WTP operations

Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Environmental discipline

Salary: Competitive; aligned with industry standards

Job Summary – O&M Operator (STP/ETP/WTP)

We are looking for dedicated and technically skilled O&M Operators to join our team at various project sites across PAN India. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Operation and Maintenance of STP, ETP, or WTP plants, with a relevant ITI or Diploma background. This role involves routine plant operations, monitoring water treatment parameters, performing preventive maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting the engineering team in achieving plant efficiency. The candidate must be willing to work at site-based locations, follow instructions from seniors, and consistently maintain high standards of performance, discipline, and learning.

 

 Key Roles & Responsibilities

1.     Operate & Monitor pumps, blowers, valves, dosing systems, and control panels to maintain efficient plant operation .

2.     Record & Report: Maintain daily logs (flow, pressure, water quality) and prepare shift-wise reports 

3.     Routine Maintenance: Perform preventive checks—clean filters, inspect rotating equipment, lubricate machinery 

4.     Sample & Analyze: Collect and test water samples (pH, turbidity, DO); adjust processes to meet standards 

5.     Troubleshoot & Escalate: Respond to alarms, perform minor repairs, and notify engineers of major issues 

6.     Safety & Compliance: Adhere to SOPs, safety protocols, and environmental regulations; ensure site hygiene 

Required Qualifications & Technical Expertise:

·       ITI (Fitter / Electrician / Pump Mechanic / Mechanical Maintenance) or

·       Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental / Civil Engineering

·       1–2 years hands-on experience in STP, ETP, or WTP plant operations

·       Mechanical troubleshooting and basic electrical skills with familiarity in SCADA/PLC systems (preferred) 

·       Proficient in water sample testing techniques and using process monitoring equipment
