Jr. Executive – Pipeline Execution (Water Infrastructure)

Location: PAN India (HO – Bhopal)

Qualification: Diploma/ B.Tech – Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 1–2 Years (Preferably in pipeline, water supply, or infrastructure execution)

🔎 Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and site-ready Jr. Executive to support the execution, installation, and commissioning of large-scale pipeline projects, such as those under the Jal Jeevan Mission (water supply).

The ideal candidate must have basic knowledge of civil and/or mechanical site processes, pipe laying, and quality standards, with a strong willingness to learn and manage daily on-site activities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Project Execution Support

• Oversee and assist in the laying, jointing, and testing of various types of pipes (e.g., HDPE, DI, PVC) for water distribution and transmission networks.
• Support senior engineers during trenching, backfilling, hydro-testing, and system commissioning phases.
• Ensure execution aligns with engineering drawings, specifications, and project milestones.

Site Coordination & Management

• Coordinate daily work execution with foremen, sub-contractors, and site labor for pipe laying and associated civil work (e.g., valve chambers, pump house foundations).
• Manage and track material movement on-site, ensuring the timely availability of pipes, fittings, and consumables.
• Coordinate with local authorities and project stakeholders for Right-of-Way (ROW) clearance and execution permissions.

Technical, Quality & Documentation Work

• Prepare accurate daily progress reports (DPR) detailing installed length, jointing status, and resource deployment.
• Maintain site records, material consumption tracking sheets, and jointing checklists.
• Assist in quality control checks, including jointing integrity and dimensional checks as per standards.
• Ensure compliance with site safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Problem Solving & Communication

• Identify and report on-site execution challenges (e.g., unexpected obstacles, design deviations) immediately to the Project Manager.
• Interact with client/PMC representatives on routine execution and quality matters when required.
• Support troubleshooting activities related to equipment and site machinery.

Travel Requirement

• Must be comfortable traveling frequently to project sites across India and working in remote locations.

🎓 Required Qualification

• B.Tech / BE or Diploma – Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 1–2 years of experience in large-scale pipeline installation, utility projects (water/gas), or civil infrastructure execution.

Basic understanding of:

• Pipe Materials & Jointing: Knowledge of DI, HDPE, or PVC pipe handling and joining techniques.
• Earthwork: Trench excavation, shoring, and backfilling procedures.
• Surveying Basics: Reading and understanding levels and alignment drawings.
• Safety Norms: General construction and site safety standards.
